Drew Martin circled Kansas City as a live underdog in Camden Yards because Michael Wacha is rolling while Dean Kremer is scuffling. Wacha sports a sub-3.00 FIP and is fresh off six shutout innings with six strikeouts versus Houston; Martin believes the 33-year-old can parlay that form again. Kremer, meanwhile, has surrendered five or more runs in four of six starts, including each of his last two. Martin added that the Royals possess the better bullpen at the moment, and although Baltimore just took two of three from New York, both wins were nail-biters that did little to mask Kremer’s issues. With the pitching edge on both ends, he is betting Kansas City outright.
