Kenny G laid –140 with Milwaukee, citing Quinn Priester’s 11-2 record and 3.44 ERA and the fact the Brewers have not lost a Priester start since May 24. Ryne Nelson (3.63 ERA) enters on a three-game mediocrity streak and draws no help from an Arizona bullpen sporting a 4.77 ERA. Milwaukee’s pen has surged late in the season, and the offense (9,7,3,1,5,4 last six) now ranks second in average, second in OBP, third in runs. The Brewers are 44-22 at American Family Field while Arizona is 30-36 on the road. Kenny would prefer –130 but still sees a significant matchup edge and leans to the over 8.5 if forced, though the side is the stronger play.
