Kenny G tagged Cincinnati at +118 as his ‘dog of the day’. He is fading Zac Gallen, who sits 4-7 with a 5.13 ERA and has watched Arizona lose both games of this series by a combined 18-4. Even if Gallen manages a quality start, Kenny cannot trust the Diamondbacks’ bullpen (fourth-worst 5.01 ERA). Conversely, Brady Singer has held opponents to three earned or fewer in four straight and gets solid run support from a Reds lineup that sits 11th in runs and 13th in slugging. Cincinnati’s bullpen has quietly improved to 3.92 ERA. With the Reds swinging hotter bats, owning the better late-inning unit, and getting plus money at home, Kenny said the price is simply too generous to pass.
