Guy Boston Sports leaned to the Mets at –125 and suggested a Braves team-total under. He trusts Clay Holmes, who carries a 2.2 ERA over his last five starts, to rebound from a shaky three-and-two-thirds, five-run outing against Atlanta just 10 days ago. Holmes’ sinker/slider mix normally gives the Braves trouble. On the flip side, Cal Quantrill’s fastball and cutter are pitches the Mets handle well, and he expects New York’s lineup—despite recent lulls—to be superior in a vacuum. As long as the price stays south of –130, he is comfortable paying the freight to back the Mets’ side.
