Although Henderson is 0-for-his-last-5 on the prop, Wade noted he rarely stays cold for long and owns big right-handed splits. Against Friday’s starter Ryan Pepiot (R), Henderson is 3-for-9 with a homer. Wade also pointed to Henderson’s domination of Tampa: he has cashed this line in 12 of the past 15 meetings and in 3 of 4 games during a four-game set two weeks ago, recording at least one hit in all four contests. With a friendly platoon edge and a proven track record against both the pitcher and the Rays, Wade expects Henderson to snap the mini-slump.

B Wade Picks wagered on Jesus Luzardo under 2.5 earned runs despite the juiced price (-170). Luzardo has exceeded that total only four times all season. He just blanked a red-hot Chicago lineup for one earned in seven innings and earlier in 2025 held Miami to a single run over seven despite allowing eight hits (1.14 WHIP). Facing his former club at loanDepot Park, Wade expects extra motivation and trusts that the Marlins—who managed only two runs Monday—remain unlikely to plate three against the lefty.

Though he has never faced Seth Lugo, Smith owns a .304 average against right-handed pitching this season and .288 overall. Wade is effectively doubling down on a Texas lineup he expects to stay hot, pairing Smith with Semien in his multi-leg slip.

He owns a .391 average in 23 career at-bats versus left-hander David Peterson, roughly equivalent to eight or nine full games worth of data. Although Riley’s historical HRRBI hit rate against Peterson is only 50-50, Wade trusts the combination of current form and a long track record of barreling this specific pitcher to push him past the over.

B Wade Picks backed Marcus Semien over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs at even money. Semien has cashed this line in nine of his last 10 games after finally regaining his swing during the Rangers’ recent offensive surge against Washington. Because his early season numbers were awful (35 % hit rate year-to-date), books have not adjusted.
