Bryan Zarpentine targeted Dylan Cease over 4.5 hits allowed at even money, noting the Yankees' offense is far tougher than Pittsburgh, the only club held to three hits in Cease's last five outings. In the four previous starts, the Rays, Astros, Cubs and A’s all racked up six or more knocks. With Cease carrying a 5.76 ERA and facing a red-hot Judge/Goldschmidt tandem, Zarpentine said he would have been comfortable at 5.5 hits, so 4.5 is a "no-brainer" fade.
