Dave Richard told listeners to stay away from the +250 to +325 price on Shedeur Sanders going inside the top five. Richard ran through the current draft order and noted that two of the first five teams are already set at quarterback, while another has Cam Ward graded higher. That leaves, at most, two realistic landing spots and he doubts either franchise has Sanders ranked ahead of blue‑chip defenders like Abdul Carter. Richard added that this class is deeper at premium non‑QB positions, giving general managers plenty of alternatives. In his view, Sanders’ brand power is inflating the market and the true probability of a top‑five outcome is well south of 20 percent.
