It’s The Final Round recommended Freddie Freeman to record a hit against Corbin Burnes. Freeman is even better than Ohtani against the cutter, batting .556 (5-for-9, 1 HR) on that pitch in 2024. He handles Burnes’ change (.300, 3-for-10) much better than league average and has at least one hit in 21 of his last 24 games. Although his career line vs Burnes is only 3-for-14 (.214, 1 HR), the host believes positive regression is coming. Freeman’s 42.7 % sweet-spot rate ranks 11th among all qualified hitters, a poor matchup for Burnes’ below-average sweet-spot suppression. The tout called it a "great opportunity" for a single-leg prop or inclusion in a hitter parlay.
