Jamey Eisenberg said Stefon Diggs is a full participant just nine months after his ACL tear and is locked in as Drake Maye’s No. 1 target. Eisenberg noted Josh McDaniels’ history of funneling slot targets to Wes Welker, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola, but expects DeMario Douglas to occupy that slot role, meaning the 31-year-old Diggs will play outside more often. Add in Diggs turning 32 in November and coming off a major knee injury, and Eisenberg urged a "cautiously optimistic" approach: draft him in the Round-7 range as a WR3 who could still crack the top-20 if he proves healthy and McDaniels moves him inside more than expected.
