Adams already demonstrated coexistence with another alpha by outscoring Garrett Wilson in eight of ten Jets games. With Matthew Stafford capable of supporting two top-15 receivers, Lange gives Adams a WR2 floor and top-12 upside. After seeing Adams’ ADP jump from the 6th to early 4th round, Lange is still happy to draft him any time after the middle of the 3rd, calling him his favorite free-agency add in best-ball rooms.

Jonathan Lange called Najee Harris a potential ADP hit at pick 58 after signing with the Chargers. Harris has never missed an NFL game and now pairs with Justin Herbert in an offense lacking an established early-down runner. Lange will take shares before the NFL Draft but plans to back off completely if Los Angeles spends a top-3-round pick on another back, reasoning that draft capital would cap Harris’ touch ceiling and render him overpriced in Flex Four.

Jonathan Lange noted that Sean Payton finally has the move-tight-end “joker” he’s been chasing after Denver signed Evan Engram. Last year’s Broncos TE leader, Lucas Krull, mustered only 19 receptions, so the depth chart is wide-open. Engram is currently going undrafted in Flex Four, but Lange believes a healthy season could land him in the TE5-10 range thanks to minimal target competition beyond Courtland Sutton. He cautioned against dreaming of a top-3 finish yet encouraged best-ball drafters to scoop Engram for free as a high-ceiling TE2.

Jonathan Lange said Garrett Wilson should benefit immediately from the Jets signing Justin Fields. Lange drew a direct line to Fields’ 2023 connection with D.J. Moore—1,300 receiving yards and a WR9 finish in fantasy points per game—as proof that Fields can fuel an alpha target earner. While acknowledging that a top-10 season is Wilson’s absolute ceiling, Lange called his current ADP of 32 (early 3rd in Flex Four) fair and is willing to click Wilson as early as the late 2nd because the Jets cleared out Davante Adams and did nothing to threaten Wilson’s target dominance.
