Sean Koerner pegged Bo Nix as a rock-solid low-end QB1, ranking him QB8-QB9 and calling his floor "extremely high" thanks to dual-threat production. Nix finished his rookie year as a top-10 fantasy quarterback with 3,784 passing yards, 29 TDs, 12 INTs and 430 rushing yards on 150 carries. He logged 10 games of 20-plus rushing yards, giving managers a weekly cushion. Koerner doubts true top-three upside because Denver’s defense is stout enough to avoid shoot-outs, capping drop-backs. Still, he outlined a believable path to top-five fantasy output: Evan Engram’s arrival at tight end, Marvin Mims’ strong finish, rookie Pat Bryant’s potential emergence and pass-catching back RJ Harvey all add weapons beyond Courtland Sutton. If one or two of those pieces hit, Nix’s passing volume could rise just enough to pair 4,000-plus combined yards with 30 total TDs. Koerner is comfortable selecting Nix in the late-sixth or later but prefers to let him slide given an ADP of 64. He believes the rushing floor keeps Nix from ever falling outside the top-15 even in a down year, making him an attractive anchor for drafters who bypass the early-round elites.
