It's The Final Round made Caleb Durbin his standalone Friday pick thanks to a dream righty-lefty matchup with Kyle Freeland. Freeland just exited a two-week IL stint and, over his last nine starts, has been shelled for 7.5 hits per outing while lasting only 5.1 innings on average. Earlier this year the Rockies left-hander surrendered eight hits and five earned to Milwaukee, and he owns a .333 average allowed to right-handed bats in 2024. Durbin is torching southpaws (.304 season-long; 5-for-8, .625 with a homer in the last two weeks) and is slashing .357/2 HR/7 RBI/10 R over the previous week overall. Given Freeland’s rust and historical struggles, the tout recommends Durbin in hits, HRR, or total-base markets, noting that correlated Brewers stacks are possible on the Novig exchange.
