Mark Zinno highlighted Coco Montes as an under-the-radar signing boosting the Rays' scrappy lineup. Montes led the Pacific Coast League in hitting last season with Albuquerque, but the Rockies surprisingly never promoted him to MLB. After deciding to go overseas, Montes was scooped up instead by Tampa Bay. Zinno pointed to Montes as an example of Tampa's savvy front office consistently bringing in overlooked players who find ways to produce at the Major League level. Montes' ability to consistently get on-base and generate offense from the bottom of Tampa's lineup makes him valuable for betting and DFS purposes.
