Steve Palazzolo said Frankie Luvu is a sneaky defensive difference-maker for Washington IDP managers. Palazzolo noted that the staff treated Luvu as an edge/linebacker hybrid in 2024, sending him on blitzes at one of the highest rates in the league for an off-ball backer. Luvu converted that usage into an elite pass-rush win rate and, according to Palazzolo, is "honestly their best pass rusher off the edge right now" with Dante Fowler sidelined and Von Miller still working back from injury. With Dorrance Armstrong, Dietrich Wise and Clelin Ferrell profiling more as rotational ends, Palazzolo expects Washington to keep manufacturing pressure by dialing up Luvu, giving him weekly double-digit sack upside and making him a priority Season-Long IDP target.
