Pat Fantasy Dog Pound said Jonnu Smith’s move to Pittsburgh vaporizes almost all of his best-ball appeal. With Pat Freiermuth entrenched as the primary pass-catching tight end, Smith now projects as, at best, the No. 4 target behind George Pickens, Roman Wilson, and the running backs. Pat expects Smith’s ADP to crater from the mid-teens to the Kyle Pitts–Hunter Henry range (around TE25-30), noting he will now be drafted behind names like Jake Ferguson, David Njoku, Tucker Kraft, and Colston Loveland. Unless drafters believe Pittsburgh will live in two-TE sets, Smith is strictly a last-round dart who needs multiple injuries to matter.
