Ben Gretch called Jordan Addison the single most undervalued wide receiver in fantasy right now. Gretch rattled off the resume: three-year early declare, Biletnikoff winner at 19, double-digit touchdowns in each of his first two pro seasons, and he still won’t turn 23 until mid-season. In Minnesota’s first preseason series Addison caught the first three J.J. McCarthy passes, convincing Gretch that if Justin Jefferson ever misses time Addison immediately steps into an alpha role. He likened the contingent ceiling to Tee Higgins or George Pickens but noted Addison is two rounds cheaper in current drafts. Critics harp on a modest yards-per-route-run, but Gretch argued that metric ignores age context and the target siphon Jefferson creates. Even with a possible (still-uncertain) league suspension hanging over him, Gretch believes Addison’s blend of early production, speed, and touchdown prowess makes him a smash eighth-round pick in best-ball builds.
