Josh said he is drafting Josh Allen as his 27th overall player, a full tier ahead of market and one spot in front of Lamar Jackson. Allen has finished QB3, QB1, QB2, QB1 and QB2 in points-per-game since 2020. Josh stressed that Allen utterly owns the red-zone, posting 27 rushing touchdowns over the past two seasons – 11 of them from the one-yard line – and none of that is disappearing with the entire offensive line returning intact. He noted the Bills star has evolved into a disciplined pocket passer who now takes the underneath throws, cuts down interceptions and avoids sacks while still wielding "super-human" athleticism. Even if Allen falls back to "only" 7–8 rushing TDs instead of the 12-15 he has lived at, Josh projects a locked-in top-three fantasy finish. A breakout from any of Buffalo’s new pass-catcher investments (Dalton Kincaid, Josh Palmer, Keon Coleman) would be pure upside gravy, so Josh is happy to click Allen whenever early-round skill players dry up.
