Steve Palazzolo warned that Kendrick Bourne could be a surprise cut once the Patriots trim to five or six receivers. With Diggs, Mack Hollins, rookie Kyle Williams, Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas and possibly Jalen Polk penciled in, Bourne is suddenly seventh in line. Palazzolo noted that New England has played the "let’s-see-what-sticks" game at wideout for years, and Bourne has survived before, but this offseason’s influx of draft capital and Hollins’ unique size/speed profile put serious pressure on the veteran. Fantasy managers stashing Bourne in deep leagues should be ready to pivot if early-August practice reports show him running with the twos.
