Polzin highlighted Ryo Ishikawa as one of the better deep-odds stabs on the board. The Japanese veteran finished 13th at last year’s Byron Nelson and ranks top-16 in three of the four critical stats Polzin is weighting (birdie-or-better rate, 200-plus approaches, and strokes-gained tee-to-green). Ball-striking is a mild concern (54th) and his specialist score is middling, but recent form is sneaky-good with a 35th at Zurich followed by top-5 and top-4 finishes on the Japan Tour. Books are hanging 75-to-1 outright numbers, yet Polzin prefers the safer route: a top-20 at roughly +300, calling it “a better option if you want exposure without burning bankroll.”
