Bob Harris warned that Brock Bowers’ current Underdog ADP of 15th overall (TE1) is “acceptable, but not ideal.” Bowers is coming off a record-shattering rookie season (112 catches, 1,194 yards, 15.5 PPR points per game, breaking Mike Ditka’s 63-year yardage record and Malik Nabers’ rookie catch record) and now gets Pete Carroll, Chip Kelly, and Geno Smith—who’s posted three straight 3,500-yard, 20-TD campaigns—running the offense. Harris’ concern is twofold: historic seasons are inherently hard to repeat, and managers can capture similar weekly leverage by taking cheaper tight ends a round or more later. He’s still willing to draft Bowers, just not at a mid-Round-2 premium in best ball.
