While Rodriguez throws with more raw violence, Madlab noted she can get “stuck in the mud,” whereas Souza’s constant lateral movement, in-and-out entries and slippery grappling could frustrate Rodriguez and steal rounds. Even inside the smaller Apex cage he believes Souza can live on the warning track, make Rodriguez chase and land cleaner moments.
