Kenny G recommended taking the Angels at −125 over Tampa Bay. Angels starter Jose Soriano (7-8, 3.65 ERA) has strung together four excellent outings and already shut down the Rays once early this year. Rays right-hander Ryan Pepiot owns a 3.80 ERA but was “shelled by the Yankees” in his last start, and Tampa’s once-elite bullpen has slipped to a 3.79 ERA. Offensively, the Rays have "really started to bottom out" and are only 23-28 away from Tropicana Field. Los Angeles, 29-28 at home, brings an attack that sits 17th in runs and 13th in slugging and has been swinging well of late. Given the hotter pitcher, the livelier bats, and a struggling opponent, Kenny expects a second straight Angels win and is ignoring the 8.5-run total.
